If you do not wish to take medication, there are natural solutions too. You can slow down your body’s loss of calcium by eating foods that contain boron – including apples, prunes, raisins, pears, figs, spinach, and broccoli

Daily exercise is also good for vitamin D Osteoporosis treatments.  Adults should get around 30 minutes a day, and is great for increasing bone density especially exercise that involves weight bearing. Walking, jogging, tennis, weight lifting are all good forms of exercise that you should consider.

However, don’t undermine all of your good work. You should stay away from certain things that can undo all of your efforts – smoking, alcohol, sugar, and salts. These cause your body to become acidic, which causes it to divert calcium from your bones to deal with the problem.
